Hi everyone! I’m James, the creative lead of Studio Jinlee. Born and raised in the greater Vancouver area, I’ve always had an affinity for the west coast but also embrace my South Korean heritage. Early on I spent time honing my eye across diverse creative projects, and that foundation led to where i am today, doing what i’m most passionate about: capturing the most special day of ones life & their overall love story.
Above all, I'm a people person. That’s why I genuinely love weddings. I get to be the calm, enthusiastic presence who helps you both relax, connect, and fully savor every minute of your day. While I'm deeply inspired by the sophisticated beauty of fine art and editorial styles, my commitment is always to blend that artistry with genuine, heartfelt and candid moments. My work is simply a clear reflection of this life-long passion. When I'm not behind the camera, you’ll often find me practicing my Spanish (yes you can try me…) or seeking out other projects that inspire me.
